Welcome to my webpage! My name is Nahia and I am Puertorrican young entrepreneur that moves with my family to Nashville, TN in search of a diagnosis and treatment. Bayra by Nahia was born out of the need to cover medical expenses but also fulfill my creativity and love for the arts. Wanting to contribute in some way to my healing and recovery process I decided to start this project.

The name Bayra in the Taíno vocabulary (indigenous of Puerto Rico) means "arrow" and arose from the biblical text in the book of Psalms 127:4 that talks about children as arrows in the hands of the brave. I am one of the arrows in the hands of my parents, who have been brave in keep searching to find an answer to my health issues and support me and my siblings in every way they can.
